	I don't know what the Nevada Taxi authority dose but having been a cab driver in FL. I know that there are many rules and regs that cab drivers have to follow. Regs like number of passengers, seatbelt use, meter use and yes even vehicle lighting. I would then assume that the Taxi Authority would enforce the regs for the taxi's in a large city so the police can be free to answer call from the public.
