Just as classic as the "Mighty O" as it was during it's day!

I do not know if this truck is rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

Anonymous wrote: Monday, April 23, 2007 - 19:26

A nice ride indeed, unless you've done something stupid enough for them to stick you in the back seat, cage, etc... Sweet car!

Anonymous wrote: Monday, April 23, 2007 - 13:49

You may want to visit the main copcar.com site and apply for access to the discussion forum. The majority of all copcar restoration experts stop by there on a regular basis.

Thank you. I'm trying to restore the '77 Gran Fury I own to NYSP car. Any knowledgeable tips & hints would be greatly appreciated.

Because when there shipped from the factory the hubs are in the trunk.

Guest William wrote: Tuesday, March 20, 2007 - 12:47

Why are the hubs missing on these new fcvs on this page and other? theft prevention at yard? ordered without?

Guest William wrote: Tuesday, March 20, 2007 - 12:30

To this day, 07, does nypd still have blue/whites in its fleet?

Anonymous wrote: Monday, March 12, 2007 - 16:00

Thanks, Joe. I'd already forgotten about that whole adventure. At least that particular animal's back in the cage again. Chemung County was getting to be a rough place for a while!

Joe, where's this shot from? It's a very nice shot. By the way, where's the unit designator on this PSP vehicle?? This is the first one I've seen without the Troop and car number high on the fender except in the big lot down at the Transportation Division in Harrisburg.

Photo was taken last year at a baseball field in Saratoga, NY. It was a funeral for NYSP Trpr Longobardo. This very well could be a HQ car as PA SP had about 30 cars/jeeps in attendance.

it's not the seat belt harness, or the seat belt for that matter. jj is correct. it's the wiring harness for the lightbar that hasn't been installed yet.

Police in NY are now authorized by state law to include blue and red lights facing the rear of their vehicles only. Of course, prior to this law a lot of departments were doing it anyway.

If you are asking, you must have seen both of the pics. I can't answer, I just snap the photo. If it's something you feel strongly, next time I'm there I'll ask. Be sure to check back often.

which is it, do they use a white car or a black car?

Guest William wrote: Sunday, January 21, 2007 - 17:39

Looks nice. A lot better then the ones here.

Guest William wrote: Sunday, January 21, 2007 - 17:34

Some agencies have them for safety and visibility.

I like how some of the cities or towns, and villages use the local city logo. I think it looks professional. Some though look good but generic.
