Are there any other vehicles the Illinois State Police drive other than the Chevy Impala and Crown Vics. like the Nissan Titan, '05 Mustang or the Ford
Five Hundred?

Take a look at my page here on the site:

There are several different vehicles in ISP's fleet

"To respond to this question with a nasty reply like that just makes you out to be an ass. It's no surprise now that Overland Park KS PD gave you a hard time."

FYI, I am the owner of copcar dot com, not Greg Reynolds. He is not an official spokesperson of this site and will no longer be leaving comments as an editor. He has moderator access and is a contributor, that is it. In that I own the joint, I am the one who edits the site, including all content. Therefore, it was I who had the run in with Overland park, KS. It was not me who came back with a derogatory remark in these photographs.

So, before you go spouting off at some person about something you read on the site, please make sure you know what in the heck you are talking about.

I know in Illinois ISP cars in the Chicago area that patrol the expressways and tollways are often equipped with push bumpers. However the rest of the ISP cars down state typically aren't equipped with push bumpers. Missouri probably puts push bumpers on their cars that patrol the Kansas City and St. Louis area.

To respond to this question with a nasty reply like that just makes you out to be an ass. It's no surprise now that Overland Park KS PD gave you a hard time.

I've never been to Kansas so you're thinking of someone else. And to leave an anonymous comment only makes you out to be an ignorant slug without any balls.
Do you really think that traveling to police departments around the country and putting pictures on this website for idiots like you is our full-time job?

We have real jobs, families, homes, financial obligations and lives too. For fun we put police car pictures that are sent into us onto the Web for all to see. Then we get a comment for some backwoods hillbilly whining about why his local cop cars are not there too. Well, that's because the people who run this site live 1000 miles away from Horseshit Falls, MO. So instead of complaining, why not send me a plane ticket to wherever the hell you live or take the damn picture yourself and send it in? Make sure to stop at Wal-Mart and get one of those disposable cameras first.

The MSHP does equip some of their cars with pushbumpers.

I believe that is a Subaru Legacy.

Guest Steve wrote: Friday, October 7, 2005 - 17:46

What company car is that? Usually American police don't use foreign cars

Guest jw wrote: Wednesday, October 5, 2005 - 22:54

Nobody said other DNR divisions use emergency vehicles. DNR Conservation Police are part of DNR aren't they?

Guest Daryl wrote: Wednesday, October 5, 2005 - 17:07

So, what other Illinois DNR divisions use marked emergency vehicles? I thought the Conservation Police were the only LE in the IDNR.

Guest JRF wrote: Thursday, September 22, 2005 - 21:38

No, it's not to bad. It looks well kept.

By the way any fellow officers or anyone for that matter from Southeast Texas and Louisiana stay safe during the hurricane. Best of luck and God bless.

Yes, shame on you. A Trooper you will never be. Stand by for a bunch of stupid comments in which everyone will begin fighting over this picture and end up calling each other names.

A lot of state police and highway patrol agenicies don't have push bumpers.

Anonymous wrote: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 - 0:57

I realize that MSHP sells their cars around 50k miles, and therefore makes very few holes in them, but apparently there are no disabled vehicles in MO...They still don't equip the cars with push-bumpers. Even the new Setina bumper units are no-holes-drilled.

"Those scathing barbs hurt me down to my soul"

Once again my counterpart has showered us with an array of big words and political correctness but still given us no useful insight or knowledge on any of the photos.

Tater, just so you know, Vienna is near Golconda, IL in Pope County. It is pronounced Vi-enna by the locals, not Vee-enna like the brand name. How's that for useless knowledge?

What kind Of Lightbar Is This One. Don't Think I've Seen It Before.

Thus proving the fact that you are indeed a pinhead.

I got ripped? You mean by a trio of anonymous comments? Oh right. Boy oh boy, those guys sure spanked me good. Those scathing barbs hurt me down to my soul.

Isn't there a NASCAR website somewhere that would better suit your remedial abilities or maybe a rerun of Blue Collar TV you could be watching?

Anonymous wrote: Monday, September 19, 2005 - 7:42

no,no,no,no,no. I was just being sarcastic with Tater because on another photo album he called me a pinhead because I simply commented how clean texas highway patrol cars were on a picture. You see he has nothing better to do with his time and apparently he was getting ripped here, so I just put my two cents in. I appologize if I offended you or the trooper who drives this car.
