Not to start a debate regarding North American vs. European police vehicles, but this car does actually stack up favourably in terms of accelaration and top speed. According to 2007 Michigan State Police testing, most Ford and Chev police package sedans and SUV's reach 60 mph in the mid 8 second range and top out at between 130-140 mph. The only notable exception is the hemi powered Dodge Charger and Magnum, which both approach 150 mph top speed.

I agree Jerred, it’s a bit strange. The Swedish police force introduced this new colour scheme for the purpose of being more visible in traffic. The special neon colour has proven to be very good in the cold and dark country of Sweden. And I might add that all police cars in Sweden have the same colour scheme, not varying from state to state.
