The Bay Village cars have a very nice design and look very sharp with the all blue light bars.

Do you really need to make up a bunch of names to post comments? 4 comments in a row, each about an Ohio PD, each in all capital letters, and yet, all by different people. You're not fooling anyone.

Guest MIKE wrote: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 21:17

BROOK PARK NOW HAS THE TRADITIONAL SHIELD ON THE DOOR WHICH LOOKS A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAN THIS DESIGN.

Guest MIKE wrote: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 21:16

THIS IS ALSO AN OAKWOOD POLICE BIKE.

Guest MIKE wrote: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 21:15

SORRY I CANNOT SPELL "PLATE" THE CORRECT WAY.

Guest MIKE wrote: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 21:15

THIS IS AN OAKWOOD VILLAGE POLICE BIKE, NOT CINCINNATI BIKE. LOOK AT THE REAR PALTE AND YOU CAN SEE IT STARTS OUT WITH "55".

Guest MIKE wrote: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 21:11

THIS IS LIMA, OHIO POLICE.

Guest RICK wrote: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 21:09

PARMA COULD OF DONE A BETTER JOB WITH THIS CAR. I WAS ON THIS PROJECT BUT ONLY TO TAKE IT AND SHOW IT. THEY NEED TO GET RID OF THE "RAINBOW" PAINT JOB ON THIS CAR. IT WOULD LOOK A MUCH BETTER. IF YOU CAN AVOID THIS CITY PLEASE DO SO. SOME OF THE COPS HERE ARE CRIMINALS AND GET OFF WITH A SLAP ON THE HAND AND A LOLLY POP AND A PLEASE DONT DO IT AGAIN FROM THE MAYOR. THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE.

Guest FRANK wrote: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 21:03

NEWBURGH HEIGHTS SHOULD OF KEPT THESE CARS THEY HAVE PICTURED HERE. THE ONES THEY HAVE NOW LOOK LIKE ANY ORDINARY BLACK AND WHITE. PLUS NEWBURGH IS ANOTHER "LINNDALE" COP WANNA BE DEPARTMENT OF PART TIMERS.

Sure is, the front half of the police truck is in the rear half of the photo.

Guest Mike wrote: Friday, April 22, 2005 - 12:05

Is there a rear half to this photo?

Guest mike wrote: Friday, February 25, 2005 - 16:44

this car in service?

I've never seen a NYSP car this old in service.

The photo shows it's surrounded by late 90's fords.

That's the new 2005 Dodge Charger in a retro NYSP color scheme fitted with an
LED version of the AeroDynic lightbar.

I was just amazed that there were no comments.

The 1973 Mercury Monterey was a single prototype only. It was driven around the state to just about every county Fair for public opinion. In August of 73 the "Sunoco" Monterey went to the NYS Fair for voting on the color scheme. It was parked next to a 73 Fury in the Black & White livery for comparison. This paint scheme was first used in 1974 on Dodge Monacos.

I wouldn't bother setting him straight, Joe. He's an idiot. He posted a big, long tirade yesterday calling Dave all sorts of nasty names. That comment, as well as any future comments from him will be deleted.

I have to come clean + tell you this: Yes, the New York State Police did employ the Dodge Diplomat + Plymouth Gran Fury from 1984-1989. I apologize for my error in judgement. I was reading my book "Cars of the State Police & Highway Patrol" and yes, they employed these cars: Ford LTD Crown Victoria (1987), Chevy Blazer (K5) + Dodge Ramcharger (Tell me if those were 1986 or 1987). 1973 Mercury Monterey (That was the first yeat EVER to employ Blue & Gold) 1974 Monaco used this look: Blue Hood & Trunk. Lower part was gold. That was used up to the mid 1980´s.
