    Don't know if it's a Savoy or a Belvedere, but it's a 1959 not a 1960.

This thing on top of this car is an Hella RTK 3-type siren and light combination. It provides the hi-lo siren tone, radio rebroadcast and manual announcements are possible. This type of siren and light combinations were common here in Germany in the 80s and used until they were replaced in the mid 90s by lightbar-style combinations with two blue lights.

Thank you, Sir. I was in the U.S.M.C. over in Japan but never made it to Europe. Those small (In stature) Japanese cops rolled up on us a couple of times. Those guys travel 4 to a car and carry small clubs and could whoop some #$*! Thanks again!

Most likely, this vehicle is used in Europe. Hella and W&G make twin driver hi-lo sirens mounted in these huge things and usually, a light is mounted on top. They are quite common there.

What in the name of the God is on top of this car? Is that a siren or an a/c unit? I've seen many strange light/sound systems but this one has me stumped!
