They aren't flush mounted. They're attached to the rear panel and raised up about 3/4 of an inch

Finally, some LED lightheads flush mounted onto the body of a police car. Smart!

When I got this picture the car was infect still in service. If you can see way back on the left there is a car that was just removed from service. I got this picture about a year ago so I don’t know if this particular car is still in service but being a Dallas resident I will occasionally see a caprice or 2 drive by or sitting in the sub station lot.

When I saw this picture, behind the Chevy Caprice, there were Dodge Interpid and Chevy Impala. Is this Chevy Caprice still on service?

Because some departments order chrome spotlights, and some order black ones.

I have noticed that some of the Dodge Charger police cars have chrome spotlights and some have black spotlights. What is the reason for this?

I asked the same question on this site earlier and I was told that there is no difference, that both are options for the police package, just like with the crown vic.

Just curious - does anyone know if there is a difference in cars determined by the black steel and silver alloy wheels? Do the alloys signify that the Charger is not a "police package" but one bought off the lot?

thank you.
