The fun of the comments section here at copcar.com is discussing the fine details of the cars in the photos.

So we know details that let us know what specific year(s) the car is, so what? what's the problem with that? I'll admit, there have certainly been some useless comments posted and some, to say the least, weird discussion here on the site. But the guy had a question about what year this car was, so we helped him out. you guys, on the other hand, come along after the discussion is over and criticize without providing any useful information. If you don't like it, then don't get involved.

Oh yeah. They're for real. These dopes will carry on for weeks as if it really mattered and never figure out how stupid they sound. You should go back and read some of the older comments where they would get into arguments with each other. It always appears to be the same guys too. They have no social life outside of their computer room so they come here and leave moronic and meaningless comments under a picture of a police car.

Oops. I don't know my Fords very well at all, but I do know my Chevys. It's funny that Philly has had their system of putting property numbers (with the first two digits being the model year) on every city-owned vehicle since roughly the early 1970s, but police cars didn't get that until about 2000 or so.

It's a 1995-1997. The 1993-1994 had a grill with 3 horizontal bars running across, while the 95-97 only had 2 as seen above.
As I pointed out you can easily tell a 92 because they did not have a chrome grill. 93-97 all looked the same in front. 93-94 had a red reflector that ran along the bottom of the trunk. 95-97 virtually looked the same on the exterior, however the 95's had the woodgrain finsh on the dashboard of the interior. 96-97 had no major differences.
