The car in this picture is a 1978 by the silver bumper filler between the rear bumper and the trunk 78 csp ltd only, 77 csp ltds were painted body color.

You can see a silver filler panel by the rear bumper? I must need new glasses.

Guest jw wrote: Monday, April 25, 2005 - 17:15

I am sure I know cars better than you do. You need to cut the crap and stop insulting people on this site. If I remember right it is you who gets on here and asks if cars that are 20 years old are for sale.

Guest Matt wrote: Monday, April 25, 2005 - 16:14

sorry jw, but you do not know cars very well so cut the crap!

He's got a Bulova Ordinance watch normally issued to the Army during WWII when this guy was in the military in the European theater. This watch has a 17 jewel Bulova 10AK movement. This watch also has that nice winding crown and blue steel hands w/ rhadium inserts. By the way he also replaced the band with a Speidel Twist-o-Flex metal band. How's that?

Guest mike wrote: Monday, April 25, 2005 - 4:40

You are all crazy!! I used a magnifying glass to read the VIN number on the dash, which revealed this is OBLIVIOUSLY a 1999 Cadillac Deville. It is also a Spittle County, Florida Constable’s car. They only put “state police” on the roof to trick people. Now, can any of you tell me what kind of watch that guy is wearing? THAT would be impressive.

Forget it AJ don't waste your breath. SR wouldn't know what an LTD nor a Crown Victoria was even if it hit him in the @ss and was labeled!

Guest AJ wrote: Sunday, April 24, 2005 - 19:16

uh Hello? SR what planet are you on? The LTD was a full size in 1977 and 1978.

Guest SR wrote: Sunday, April 24, 2005 - 17:41

Ford didn't make big full-size LTDs. That is a Crown Victoria. The LTD was much smaller.

I never thought about it, but I guess to someone that dosen't know cars well from this angle it does look similar to a Monoco or Grand Fury of the same era.

Guest Matt wrote: Sunday, April 24, 2005 - 13:46

Larry is right,it is a ford ltd.

Guest CTSP Observer wrote: Sunday, April 24, 2005 - 6:59

This car is an LTD as you cannot see any "Custom" logos present on the back quarter panel. Since it's an LTD it could only be a 1977 or 1978 for CTSP as they had the "Custom" models before 1977. Also, based on the lightbar this car might be a 1977 or very early model 1978 as in 1978 CTSP started using a single light strobe that had the bigger dome from Whelen. This car also would have been equipped with the "C" coded 460 Police Interceptor motor as that's the only motor that CTSP spec'd out for the Fords. The CTSP museum owns a 1978 Ford LTD with the same color blue but with the newer light mounted on it.

Guest jw wrote: Saturday, April 23, 2005 - 17:53

That is clearly a 70's Ford LTD.

Anonymous wrote: Saturday, April 23, 2005 - 17:22

Dude, you don't know anything. That is a 77 Gran Fury by PLYMOUTH.

Guest Larry wrote: Saturday, April 23, 2005 - 17:04

Its a Ford LTD. 1975-78.

Guest Bil;l Parks wrote: Wednesday, April 20, 2005 - 18:10

That's a real car there boys! They damn surre don't makeem like that annymore.

Guest Jeff K. wrote: Wednesday, April 20, 2005 - 16:27

The car in the picture is a full-size Ford -- most likely an LTD of late '70s vintage. (I wonder if it has a 460, though.)

Anonymous wrote: Wednesday, April 20, 2005 - 15:41

You're mistaken. It's a Ford.
