Anybody know what vehicle this agency used in '76 & '77?

Hello Sir!

Did NM State Police use both Monacos and Fury´s in the ´70´s? I´m a Mopar enthusiast from Finland and I would be happy if you let me know.
Thanks.
M.A

Does anybody know if they used the 'Gran Fury' in '77? According to 'Car & Driver' in 1977 (A Civilian Bear Spotters Guide) - the primary cruiser was the 'Royal Monaco', while the 'Gran fury' was the secondary cruiser. I thought this might be a 'typo' as I grew up in N.Y. and never saw one - or a photo of one either.

The Car looks great and the only way you knew it was a Road car and not the Thruway car was the Thruway car colors were reversed.

this is not an example of a mars style bar. this is more, if not actually, a federal vis-a-bar. mars bars have a wider base to them than this model, and the actual lights have a different design to them as well. i'm sure our cpd and florida experts can chime in as well...

I am not sure if THP ever used the Twinsonic at all. All the 70's and 80's pics I have seen of their squads had this Mars style bar, a Smith and Wesson bar or one of those horrible 70's strobe bars that had a small strobe light on each side.

The car in this picture is a 1978 by the silver bumper filler between the rear bumper and the trunk 78 csp ltd only, 77 csp ltds were painted body color.

You can see a silver filler panel by the rear bumper? I must need new glasses.
