I think the FHP tested these as well.

Didn't the CHP use mercurys in the late 60's or early 70's?

Guest Dennis Finley wrote: Friday, June 1, 2007 - 23:11

How about setting up a tripod and doing a night shot of this car?

Guest Dennis Finley wrote: Friday, June 1, 2007 - 23:08

Always did like these.

Great body style for LAPD!

Just a little more. CSP also has a CSI unit in Sacramento and individual CSi officers in other offices. CSP had 21 offices from Redding to San Diego. The photo of the 1988 Chevy is technically the 3rd version. The first two were CSP shoulder patches on the front doors. One patch style from the early 50's to 1973. Then the patch was redesigned. That lasted until 1984 when the pictured markings were used. Around 1989-90 a new chief was appointed and started new patrol vehicle markings.

The CSP provided the full range of police services to state agencies and property. They were not limited to buildings and grounds. A lot of states have a state police/highway patrol and a capitol police. But I think California was the only one with two full peace officer power/authority agencies.

It's the H2.

Anonymous wrote: Saturday, May 19, 2007 - 18:31

Is this Hummer H2 or H3?

Guest Fred wrote: Saturday, May 12, 2007 - 0:58

On one of the driver side pics you can see the exhaust which means it is a 5.7L V-8 The V-6 only has one exhaust on the passenger side.

Well, guess I'm going to have to release an updated decal sheet for Santa Monica. Old graphics would've looked real good on a black and white.

Thanks. Not that the clear LED lightbars are bad, but it's always nice to see cop cars topped-off with blue and red.

Guest Greg wrote: Wednesday, April 11, 2007 - 21:43

That is the FedSig "Arjent" LED lightbar. It is made from the lower portion of the Vista bar.

Guest William wrote: Wednesday, April 11, 2007 - 19:42

Isnt it a Federal Signal? Just looks like a Vista cut in half, looks better then the Vista full LED.

Guest Andrew Heston wrote: Wednesday, April 11, 2007 - 18:48

What company manufactures this lightbar?
