To think I nearly 'junked your car' a couple of years ago before we offered it to you.. What a great job you did with it. You do North Haven Proud.

Are there cars still mostly unmarked with the removable light bars in the fleet?

I was always under the impression that 'scale' models pertained primarily to marine units.

A scale model of this car appears in the Modelers Bench album.

The black box on the roof on the drrivers side is a connector for a liberty lightbar, which is optional on some supervisor, traffic andcommunity service officer vehicles.

Great photographs. What's the equipment on the roof of the driver's side? Radar or Antenex antenna?

As I had mentioned in a post with a GSP car with a FastTrax, in Connecticut the State Police only used the FastTrax on about some of their Community Service cars (the one pictured above) of which there were only 12 made in 1998 (I not sure but I think one was wrecked and replaced in 2000), all of Connecticut's regular patrol cars have no markings and come in a variety of colors and are all equiped with removable Whelen Edge bars. So Connecticut has only used the FastTrax on fewer than a dozen cars.
