Cherokee Police Officers are primarily Native American members of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee. They work closely with a number of federal law enforcement agencies, including the National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, the FBI, the US Marshals Service, and others as there are federal lands that surround Cherokee tribal lands, primarily the Great Smoky Mountain national Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which ends on tribal land.
