Note the words "show car" so he has a license to be a little creative I suppose. Anyone who restores an old cop car is ok in my book even if not totally accurate. Take off the Beacon Ray and MSP hood sign and it could be a CA type cop car.
I own a 99 MSP Tahoe , and have drove a 2006 MSP Tahoe, the 99 rules hands down.

I live in "Chesterfield County" - Virginia, that is. We don't have 'townships' here and our county police cars have different graphics than the one in the photo above. We do have red and blue lights now (formerly all blue) on our patrol cars.
Great site!!

I agree with Dano. MSP cars are the most distictive in the country. That light on the roof is more visible at a distance than any light bar. LEDs are making their mark tho.
All that asside, I for one am still in mourning over the loss of that CAPRICE.... I've heard a new one is in the works but from some of the pics I've seen it looks like a glorified Impala.
MSP... Keep the traditional Blue Goose. Add the slicktops with the LED strobes to the fleet and no one else can compete.

Does Unity still make the RV26 beacon? Or do they use new old stock and/or refurbished units?

I like the agressive design of the Dodge Charger Police vehicle.
Bloomfield and Bloomfield Township are very wealthy areas. Most of Sports stars and Auto execs live there. I looked at a 1999 Chevy Tahoe that was ex-Bloomfield Township and they take immaculate care of their vehicles. Unfortunately I didn't buy the Tahoe, the township can afford the gas for them but not me!
Great site!!
