I agree. Looks great, but would look and function much better with the steelies.

hahah those aren't plastic mag wheels those are cast aluminum mag wheels...and yea there are not good for rugged police work better with steel rims..

Great-looking car; but I still think that the new Charger looks much better with black "steelies" than with those plastic mag-style wheel covers.

I bet brake dust is going to be a problem!

Not exactly a Magic Carpet Ride...

Guest Tim wrote: Thursday, January 11, 2007 - 16:15

Yes they have carpet as we in Virginia have carpet in our patrol cars. It does make a mess when a drunk throwes up. It also makes a mess when one lets lose on the other end. We do carry emergency blankets that are disposalable. I use one often for them to sit on to keep the seats clean.

I notice that NCHP's Crown Vics are "admin packages." I hope they don't have carpeting inside instead of the rubber floors that the "patrol packages" come with. I had a drunk vomit in the back of my cruiser last week. Luckily, we have rubber floors and plastic back seats (and a contract with a cleaning company to decom the car).

No more BLUE car for you! This department got rolled into the Highway Patrol, the cars are now black and silver.

this is a NC capital police unit

Guest Brian wrote: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 - 10:56

FYI, there is no Edenton County in North Carolina, however, this looks like a Chowan County Sheriff's Office vehicle. The county seat of Chowan County is Edenton. Thanks

Thanks Brian. Got it changed.

ref.: "Unk-Onslow Co. Sheriff, unknown state"

This Onslow Co. Sheriff vehicle is from North Carolina. The county seat is Jacksonville, NC and is also home to the Marine Corps base, Camp Lejeune.
