Our sheriff's office has a 2 wheel Tahoe on order: *$26,900 is the cost which we got off the NJ State Police bid:
* Impalas sell for $17,900:
I don't have a bid on the 2008 Crown Vic yet

Great content of the photo: someone took the time to focus the vehicle with a super background: sharp foto, sharp vehicle: good job

This unit is now out of service. The 2007 Chevy Tahoe will be up and running within the next two weeks. Photos to follow.

It may be Pickaway County, but it's also possible that it's Hamilton County. They use the same design scheme, if that's the case.

And the bikes?

Guest dan quigley wrote: Friday, March 9, 2007 - 8:56

The Expeditions are used by the zone Lt's. The Impala's in the background are used by sergeants.

Guest Dan Quigley wrote: Tuesday, March 6, 2007 - 18:08

Parked behind the new car is the 2001 Dodge Durango used by the sergeants. It will be replaced by a 2007 Chevy Tahoe, cant wait.

Guest Dan Quigley wrote: Tuesday, March 6, 2007 - 18:06

The first car is complete except for the new light bar. We will be getting two new units within 3 months that I will submit when done.

I remember taking a grade school field trip to Canton P.D. in the mid 1960's and seeing this car parked in the basement parking garage off of 3rd. Street. Sorry to add that retired Canton Police Chief Thomas W. Wyatt passed away on 16 Feb 07. He was on the department from August 1957 to the the time he retired in 2003. He was a good guy and a man of integrity who will be sadly missed.

I remember seeing this car running around the Stark county area back in the early '90's when O.S.P. Post 76 had it in use.

The department is celebrating their 80th anniversary as of January the 4th.

black & white's are all the rage with Columbus area subrubs. Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, & Valleyview have all started buying B/W units instead of all white

Guest Jason Burdette wrote: Wednesday, January 17, 2007 - 18:12

The car was bought by the Canton Oh. Police Dept. in 1937 to use as a riot control vehicle. The car has bullet proof glass,12 gauge armor plating from front to back for protection. This car was in service for 50 years retired and donated to the Canton car musem where it sits now on display. They do bring the car out once in a while to shows and special events.

Pickaway, OH. I seen some old FCVs on ebay from there. Yea, pretty ugly but good on the freebie budget.
