From what I understand, the 07 vic and the old caprice run very similar times. Not the case when comparing the hemi against the 07 vic

Like I said...after 8-12 hours in that cockpit, you're looking at some sore legs.

If you've ever seen Philly's cars, you know that it won't look like that for long.

A buddy of mine with San Diego Sheriffs says they're all engine and brakes. FAST! A bit cramped though.

"It's faster than a caprice" I will have to see that to believe it. I have heard the new Hemi motor is not all its cracked up to be.

i think the charger handles better that the caprice, and almost as fast....but the brakes are terrible after a while and the front end needs to be rebuilt after 70k miles.

As an avid emergency vehicle photographer and native Philadelphian, I wonder if someone (perhaps Tom Fraser) can tell me where these Expressway Patrol Chargers are based. They are definitely not at any local police districts, and I think stopping along Interstate 76 for a photo opportunity is not really a viable option.

Very few departments want to spend the money to custom-paint their cars today. Those "Rizzo Blue" cars were the sharpest. I think the red cars were probably discontinued because they were too easily confused with fire chief cars.
