Okay, JoeTex. Yes, I am wrong. The TX statute that I quoted was totally fabricated in my brain while I was on the crapper. Gee, you caught me.

Now, if I remember correctly, when you opened your big mouth and said that a new TX law mandated that all police departments in TX have to drive black and white cars, you were challenged to provide proof. In the form of the statute itself. So far we are all waiting with bated breath.

Oh, I see, now you change the story. Now you say they have to be black and white OR white.

Who's wrong? The person who makes up their own fantasy or the person who actually quotes REAL statutes to you from the Texas law books?

It's great to be me, isn't it? That's what I've been saying for years. You guys can have JOETEX. I can't believe I'm saying this, but he's too stupid even for me to make fun of.

I must be getting softer in my old age.

Joetex, you are a blithering moron. Even if anything you had to say were correct, no one would ever notice because we're too busy trying to translate what you write into a language that English speaking persons can understand.

Stop and read what you've written BEFORE you click the "post" tab. It only takes a second or so to proofread.

Your comments will still be incorrect, but at least we won't all be thinking that you're the type of guy who has to wear a bicycle helmet 24hrs a day and to whom Jell-O poses a severe choking hazard.

If you all thinks this is bad...I went to El Paso in June and made a visit to the city repair yard and I got a picture of a fully marked El Paso Police Department O3 Focus...It was between two Crown Vics so its not the best pic but I will send it in for y'all.

the new Impalas are NOT avilable with V8's for the police package. The 9c1 Police Package Impala's only come with the 3.9V6. The Tahoes right now are Going to the Tactical Teams and K9's with the occassional few going to some of the Patrol Sgts.

The Hemi Chargers are only going to the Traffic Division. Mainly to Replace the old Camaros

IF patrol gets the Chargers, they will more than likely get the V6's Everyday Patrol Officers in Dallas dont need the Hemis;

I had a 2004 Ford Explorer for two years. I hated the damn thing. However I didn't work in a rural area either. I thought it was a big waste of money.

Guest Texas Law wrote: Monday, July 2, 2007 - 15:03

Ummm..... I could tell a LOT of difference between the V6 and the Hemi. The V6 felt about like the CVPI, and the Hemi felt like...... well, there was a TON of difference.

Guest Badboy wrote: Saturday, June 23, 2007 - 13:03

The department I work for has both Hemi and V6 Dodge Chargers. There is only very little difference between the two. I really doubt that we will purchase anymore Hemi's. The vehicle's performance isn't bad at all. The visibliltiy sucks. It is hard to see out of the vehicle. However I don't think the Charger is a bad vehicle, but I still prefer the Crown Vic.

Nice looking slick top. I really like the lighting set up on this one.

Guest Tx Lawman wrote: Monday, June 11, 2007 - 10:11

That's news to me. I haven't heard of ANY complaints about the performance/reliability on the new Chargers. Only thing I have heard other officers say is "be really careful when backing, can't see in the blind spot". You will be seeing LOTS more of these cars.

This is one of their sergeant's personal vehicles. DWG officer's are very active and fanatical about their policework, on and off duty.

Their primary police vehicle's the Chevy Tahoe, but the chief drives an all white unmarked Expedition, and I've also seen a red F150 on traffic stops, which also belongs to an officer. Another officer has a '00-'02 WS6 Pontiac Trans Am in official DWG police livery as well.

Go 32 mph on Bowen Rd. (30 mph zone) and see if you don't get pulled over. ;)

Guest LIVE from Dallas, TX wrote: Saturday, June 9, 2007 - 16:22

Dallas police are not refurbishing any police vehicles. They are primarily using the new Impala V8's and Chevy Tahoes.

they're also about to put into service 50 new dodge charger's, and yes they're hemi's.

cheers.
