Does anyone know that the fuel economy of Ford Police Interceptors and Chevy Impala Police vehicles? Also, does anyone know that fuel economy of Dodge Charger with V6 and V8?

I talked with a DART Police Sargent and he said they are going to phase out their FCV's and are starting to replace them with chargers. I see a few around Dallas and several in their main lot.

i am a trooper with the tennessee highway patrol and we are getting 30 of the dodge chargers. the ones we are getting are the V-6 engines. we were hoping for the hemi but they arent.

hmm well to add to the topic what do you all expect from a cheap affortable american car with a v/6?i work with diffrent kind of cars and the intrepid is on the top list to have engine or other mechanicle problems.due to the cheap coast it takes to manufacture one..they look nice tho.and i hear dallas pd since they cant purchase cvpi's from ford the current one's are being refurbished.
