When did Australia stop production of the Dodge Phoenix (Plymouth Fury here in the States)? Where else beside Australia can you see so many American-like cars with the steering wheel on the right side.

These Mondeos are currently being used by US Military Police in Germany. They replaced a variety of US-spec Dodge sedans and other models.

"These big bars are because the german police likes putting led displays on the back of them, telling messages like "STOP", "SLOW" or similar. can't say why the one to the left don't have."

It does. It´s just hidden behind that green top. Same thing on the front.

Got to love those speedway checker flag graphics!

I wonder if some of the towns here in the U. S. with NASCAR Nextel Cup speedways would see if NASCAR would flip for the bill if could do that for the trafic cops here.

I like the BMW police cars whene ever I think of foreign police cars I think of BMW.

Anonymous wrote: Tuesday, February 21, 2006 - 19:25

I like looking at European and foreign police cars its cool to see BMW and Mercedes police cars. Their light bars though are the most diffrent especially from American light bars.

They should race the Special Service Mustang, and see if "the car that chases porsches for a living" can beat a porsche.

Guest etg wrote: Saturday, February 11, 2006 - 13:59

yeah, that's supposed to be whenever, not "whever"

Guest etg wrote: Saturday, February 11, 2006 - 13:58

"I would not need one as there is a car parked outside with a new LED bar on it, so i can have all the fun i want for free."

i'm glad to see that you are using whatever emergency vehicle it is that's parked outside as it was intended to be used. in case you didn't know, the car parked outside with a new led bar on it isn't supposed to be used to run red lights or to avoid traffic whever you feel like it. they're not toys to be used "for fun."

Guest John Thelen wrote: Saturday, February 11, 2006 - 8:46

Looking from west of "the pond", I'd say most of the Brit/Euro cars are far more advanced than many agencies allow here. Those "message board" light bars would be particularly useful in controlling the crazies we get behind the wheel!
