105 Cruise 2003 This year's Cruise by Dallas Radio Station 105 was attended by more than 150 vehicles, traveling from the American Airlines Center (Mavericks Arena)in downtown Dallas to Lone Star Park (horse racing) in Grand Prairie. The two DART Police bikes are 2002 with all LED lights, they are very bright and I bet their charging systems run well.

Those are from Garland, TX. But if you look close, you have a lower set of lights on the bikes, with red on the left, and blue on the right. You can't see the blue in these pictures but if you go to my album and look up the Garland pictures, you'll see them.
Blue leading is not illegal in Texas as far as I know. Arlington mixes it up. I've seen units there with blue on the left, red on right. I have pics of vector bars with blue leading. Note the picture of the mobile command post from Arlington: the blue is on the left. It's almost like the shops don't know which color goes where and no one else is paying attention. But then there is Irving, which always puts blue on the left side of their strobe bars. As far as I know, they are the only dept. in DFW to always have it that way. I was once told that they did it that way to make the cars more noticeable from Arlington and Dallas, as if the public would notice.
