I loved those old Federal sirens, especially those that pulsated. Nothing echoed down the streets of New York like a racing NYPD radio car from the '60's and '70's. Sure do miss them!

PO M. Smith's leather gear, keys, duty weapon and, I think, her shield are also on display at the NYPD musuem. Like you said - eerie.

Actually, it is Moira Smith.

Those photographs in that display are so eerie. To think they were captured just moments before their deaths hits you very hard.

Her name was Moria Smith.
