frankly, I think it would be wonderful if Florida seceded from the US... or maybe even sunk into the ocean and take dragon with it. Nothing but crooked politicians, blue hairs and serial killers there anyway.

Guest etg wrote: Saturday, March 3, 2007 - 18:01

eat your words, dragon. the last time i checked, FEMA stands for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, not the Florida Emergency Management Agency. the red cross is also a national organization. if a hurricane strikes any state, the federal government declares disaster areas and states of emergency. we live in the united states of america, not the confederate states of america. just as firefighters and emergency responders from all over the country responded to the 9-11 tragedy in new york and washington d.c., louisianans received help from all over the country because it was the noble and american thing to do.

"crying for help." you should pray that you should never have to endure the pain and suffering the people from louisiana did, for if you had, i'm sure you'd take the hand of any non-floridian willing to help you out.

what a pathetic comment from such an ignorant point of view.

All I have to say is this-Florida rocks! As you all know, hurricanes are very common in Florida. Florida is the only state that is prepared before and after a hurricane strikes. You notice we never cry for help like other places...

"ETG, don't forget his equally sad attempt at spelling the word exhilarating."

Did I hear somebody mention something about a senseless rambling?

ETG, don't forget his equally sad attempt at spelling the word exhilarating.

Guest el taco grande wrote: Monday, September 19, 2005 - 11:03

no, i'd rather laugh at your spelling of the word sarcasm.

Anonymous wrote: Sunday, September 18, 2005 - 7:30

A little humor is great for the soul to have in a time of desperation. So laugh without sarcasum
On a side note...I find it exillerating to see so many law enforcement officers giving a helping hand.

of course they thought they were shooting a remake of smokey and the bandit. why would anybody think they were there to help aid those suffering from a recent natural disaster? nice pithy comments there.

Some probably thought they were shooting a remake of Smokey and the Bandit

I would have loved to have heard the chatter on the CB about wall to wall bears when the truckers passed that rest area/weigh station!
