Pretty neat seeing the model kit on the '65 Ford Custom. Know where I can find one to buy - I know they're very rare now. Thanks!

They're not as rare as you think. This 4dr sedan model kit is available from Modelhaus Resins-- www.modelhaus.com

Very nice. By the way, R&R Vacuum Craft makes a decent '68 Belvedere 4dr in resin.

The model is so clean and the background so realistic that Roy thought it was real...

Hi there,

First i must congratulate you on some fantastic models. I collect old 1/10 scale RC models myself but my skils don't even come close.

I am desperately trying to paint on of my old ford ranger XLT models in a similar style to your 74 Blazer. I was orginally thinking of a similar style but Texas Ranger insignia, but I can't find decals or artwork or even nice clean photos of the insignia anywhere. Can you help?

Do you know anywhere where I might get some source material from.

Thanks
Chris

that is a cool car

Guest Bob wrote: Friday, August 22, 2003 - 17:37

Looks like the alley behind my old house in Des Plaines! Only needs some tire tracks in the snow, or some snow on the car to look 100%!

Try the Mundelien fire swap meet, usually in November at the high school. Allways a lot of lights for sale. Mars stuff is very rare though.

Guest roy wrote: Tuesday, August 19, 2003 - 21:34

can you recommend anywhere in the chicago area to pick up the old blue gumball lights from the 60's chicago squadcars or the blue mars light bars from the 70's/80's cars ??

No. And by the way, you left your comment under a picture of a plastic model car.

That's the black rubber gasket that separates the turn signal/sidemarker lens from the headlight. All Caprices have it.

The original left-hand-drive model kit made by Johan is still in production and is available almost anywhere. Just go to eBay and search for "Plymouth Police". There are several kits on there right now. (6 Aug 03 11pm)

Dear Greg,

Thanks for the answer.
Are there any kit's of Plymouth or Dodge that I could use to do what I want?
Thanks again.

Filipe

Guest Marty Davis wrote: Sunday, May 18, 2003 - 10:37

Now that's a police car.

Guest Filipe Trindade wrote: Saturday, May 10, 2003 - 8:46

Hello,

Great car and excelent web-site.
Does this kit already comes with the decals and light's, in this police version, or did you had to buy all parts in separet?
I'm asking this, because I would like to do the Police car from the TV series Hill Street Blues, that is very like this one.
My name is Filipe and I'm from Portugal.
Thanks and best regards.
#####################################
Sorry Filipe-
This model comes in a kit without any police equipment. The decals and police lights all come from different kits or companies.
The Hill Street cars were mostly Plymouth and Dodge. This model is a Chevy.

Buena suerte-
