You're only about half right, Skippy. While the VSP did use primarily Ford and Plymouth in the 1960s, they were all two-door sedans. The roof-mounted siren/light combo was replaced in 1968 by the Federal Junior Beacon Ray single rotator. The first 4dr sedan for Virginia's State Police was the 1970 Plymouth Fury.
