Thanks for your editorial, but I never asked. You must be the life of the party. Are you cute? All this impressive police car talk makes me frisky.

The Massachusetts State Police have a few of these, apparently on a try-out basis. They look great in the Statie's blue and gray livery.

Our PD (Kingston ON) has been testing 5 of these as the crown vics get older. We also have a coupple Magnums.

Mate, these babes are awesome. Try pushing them and they are itching to go

Just wanted to comment that the NYPD will purchase or has purchased about 15 of these cars for testing purposes.

I agree. This was my favorite model of cruiser above all the rest that I've driven. Before I retired, I was driving a Chevrolet Lumina. That vehicle would have to be the worst squad car ever in the history of our cities fleet.

I priced these out for our department and was quoted $26,900 for the Hemi police package. I can buy Crown Vics for just over $22,000. Anybody know if Dodge will be trying to compete with Ford fleet sales? I really would like to get these on the road in my community, patrol would love them.
I need them to be priced at the current CVPI prices however.

WELL WHAT CAN I SAY, THIS IS A FINE LOOKING VEHICLE (BUT) IF LIKE OTHER CHRYSLER PRODUCTS THEY SHOULD JUST AS WELL STAY ON THE SHELF. OUT OF MY YEARS OF SERVICE,(1973) OVER ALL THE FORD HAS BEEN THE BEST PATROL VEHICLE TO DATE. BUT WHO KNOWS DODGE MIGHT TAKE IT. I WOULD ALMOST LOVE TO TRY IT OUT FOR FREE, SINCE I RETIRED IN (1998) SOUTH CAROLINA STATE TRANSPORT POLICE.

best car ever made

Three sergeants looked at the photos and the brochure. We agreed we will never see them in the patrol fleet as district cars. Traffic on the other hand is gonna have a freakin' ball driving these puppies if and when!

340Hp???
390Ft/Lbs???
UNDER 4000lbs????
this car will be more legendary than the furies and 9c1s!
the only drawback is thier program price....you can still get a vic cheaper....and a typical family car has a real hard time outrunning a well trained officer and his P-71

They look sharp but the question is, how will they perform and hold up in fleet?

I think that the new Dodge Charger is the best looking Police Vehicle that I have seen in a long time. I think the Charger will do very well in the Law Enforcement market.
