Nice to see the Dutch striping schemes are finding their way to the USA!
High visibility, instant recognition, better safety.
Whomever is babbling about nice graphics bladibla should go run an advertisement company and care about styles and colors.
Those working in safety jobs care about getting noticed. And if this striping does the job, quit whining.
And it's only the English that drive on the wrong side of the road... even though they tend tho think the same about the rest of the world.

WHAT is the point in this wierd, totally useless website? Whoever created it has way too much spare time on his hands. Who the hell cares about copcars or ambulances, don't you people out there have anything better to do? Get a LIFE!

Yeah, but what type of complete loser would then be willing to waste his own time flipping through all the pictures and be stupid enough to leave a bunch of photo comments at such a "wierd and totally useless" site? Should we get a life like YOURS?
No thanks.

This would be an very nice looking Colorado ambulance except for those horrendous european style graphics on it. These vertical or diagonal stripes in a multitude of bizarre looking color combinations are incredibly popular in Europe, particularly the UK. They can be found on any emergency vehicle in any color or combination of colors including red, blue, orange, bright flourescent yellow, green, flourescent green, white you name it and are by far the worst paint schemes that I have ever seen on an emergency vehicle. These pathetic looking stripes do get European emergency vehicles noticed but no more so in my opinion than the clean, well designed graphics on our emergency vehicles in the US. At least American emergency vehicles have paint schemes that are distinctive and attention getting without being totally unattractive and distasteful looking. What were the people in charge of this Colorado ambulance service thinking when they okayed the design for this ambulance? Couldn't they have come up with a design that was good looking and American style as opposed to terrible looking and European like? At the very least they could have gone with two or three horizontal stripes instead of a plethora of diagonal stripes running one into the other. American designers are perfectly capable of designing clean, good looking and stylish cars, trucks and emergency vehicles and have done so for many years. I hope that we can continue to do so in the future without reverting to the cheap looking, blocky, uninspired and bizarre European style designs for our vehicles.
