Dave Arnold's 73 Fury   RSS
I purchased this 1973 Plymouth Fury II in May, 2004. I picked it up in NY and drove it all the way to Dallas without a problem.

The car equipped to represent an Illinois State Police unit. All electrical equipment was installed by Bill Myers on the way to the car's debut at the NYC Police museum show in June, 2005. Graphics by Dave Sechrest were applied by Greg Reynolds at the onset of the NYC show.

The car was shown at all three of the big shows: NYC, Chicago and Ripon. After the Ripon show in October, 2006, the car was sold while I returned home. It now resides near Yosemite in California.

Re: 1973 Plymouth Fury cop car project
Dear Dave:
I was very interested in viewing your rebuild of the 1973 Plymouth Fury police car. After viewing the progress and results, I can honestly say that you have done a remarkable job! I took a special interest in this particular year, make and model police car because when I first got my drivers license, my father gave me his car: A 1973 Plymouth Fury with 178,540 miles and still running strong! Of course, as a beginning driver, it took my poor driving skills to "kill" it, when I took down a traffic light with the "poor" car, rendering it "undriveable."

Unfortunately, the 73 Fury pretty much remains in this condition still today for one reason or another. Hoping to finish it soon.
