I disagree there DOT guys have this same design on white cars with blue decals and it looks much better.

Anonymous wrote: Saturday, July 24, 2004 - 6:36

what are you talking about, this beats the hell out of the billions of all-white police cars

Guest jimbo wrote: Tuesday, July 20, 2004 - 23:35

I would agree with that and there uniforms don't look any better. Nothing against the agency itself but both look like they belong to a sheriff's department rather than a state police agency.

not the most attractive police car

Guest jimbo wrote: Thursday, July 15, 2004 - 20:06

I thought it was either a XL or MX but I wasn't sure. The sheriff's department in my county used these in the late 80's and early 90's. They were really bright compared to other light bars of that era. However I never saw a lot of departments use them most departments at that time used the Aerodynic of Federal Streethawk.

no its a code3 XL

Guest jimbo wrote: Thursday, July 15, 2004 - 0:15

Is this a Code 3 MX lightbar?

The unit is correct except for carpet upgrade. In process of trying to get authenticity of the unit to end the negative comments about our unit since attending the New York show. Hopefully within resonable time info can be found via ret. former Metro DC police officers as well as those of the US Capital Police.

The unit was displayed as such by request of Ret. Lt.Steven O'Dell Washington, D.C. since two officers from were killed in the line of duty just a few days prior to the event. The unit was shown in the behalf of the Metropolitan Police Washington, DC. The color of the stripes are correct for the unit as best as we could determine via photos from back then and that were available.

As an active DNREC Officer, I'm pleased to see this car displayed. The owner has gone to great lengths to make the markings and electronics accurate in every respect. A job very well done that gives me a 70's flashback!

This car is a sleeper. Very well done. Deserves an award or two. Love that green paint job, too.

Guest Jester wrote: Thursday, May 20, 2004 - 2:40

Got to be one of the best paint schemes for any State Police Car. The ASP has some real sharp cars. The paint scheme on the 2001 Z-28 Camaro's really looks sharp.
