That is, and emphasized - Other "Vehicles" especially other than CVPI's with much flair / graphics, but when they have red or blue on top...

I've seen D.A.R.E. vehicles from every walk (or mile driven) of their lives, and they're all unique in every way. No matter where you look, you'll find...
-Brand spanking-new ones bought by departments -Brand spanking-new ones donated by dealerships -Former fleet-cars granted a second chance at life -Personally-owned donations (vehicle or monetary)
...and then my own personal favorite - Vehicles aquired or seized from drug dealers!!!
Fortunately, the D.A.R.E. program is still with us and it does make a difference. My little five-year-old bobblehead loves and often recognizes cop cars when we're out and about, but she now notices and indicates that there's something different about regular in-service CVPI's and other CVPI's that also 'don' the blue or red lights on top.
Whoa...

Do pardon my ignorance but I did read that vehicles that use fancy D.A..R.E. painting schemes are: a)high end or performance vehicles seized in drug raids b)cruisers nearing the end of their service life. However seldomly you do see normal police cruisers (like the one on top from Henderson) with these paint schemes. My questions are the following: 1)Why? 2)Where does the funding come from? 3)Is the officer the vehicle is assigned to a high ranking one? (anyone who knows please answer)

This is a nice looking patrol car, I like the hub caps on this beast. I also like the push bumper and the windows on how they are tinted, very nice work, all the Nye County cars should be like this.

Just wait until you see their new fixed-wing single-engine Cessna airplanes. Apparently, HPD refers to them as the Fly-SWATers!
