Guest Commissioner Gordon wrote: Saturday, June 16, 2007 - 7:52

Guest Commissioner Gordon wrote: Saturday, June 16, 2007 - 7:48

Raton in spanish is translated to mouse .so in this case it would be the mouse police

Guest Commissioner Gordon wrote: Saturday, June 16, 2007 - 7:40

i would say that in this case its a ticket or a citation

Guest Commissioner Gordon wrote: Saturday, June 16, 2007 - 7:37

iwould say then .that the new mx has two handfuls one for the impalas and the other for the intrpid's

Guest Commissioner Gordon wrote: Saturday, June 16, 2007 - 7:30

i'd say that this new graphics are huge call out to all the drunk drivers driving around.so when they get stopped they would be able to say "sorry officer''i did not see you b&w car parked by here:-)

Guest Commissioner Gordon wrote: Saturday, June 16, 2007 - 7:07

Responding to Bill. The overlay system did not seem to be sturdy for our extreme weather changes. The Blue is painted on a silver car and the Graphics are high quality reflective scotchlight stickers made locally.

i think its a experimental paint scheme... alot of departments are experimenting with diff paint schemes now

When I get a chance Ill shoot some pics of the new design. The same but added gold reflective "police" in the passenger rear doors with in small lettering above it "motor transportaion". The rear logo has been removed and "new mexico" lettering in small italicalized gold sitting over a large gold DPS lettering is now in the rear.

I know APD fleet svcs use to paint over the old logo adhesive transfer with black or orange, looks like they still do. Yea looks like some locals in Las Vegas got bored and decided to bust out the windows.

I like the basic look of the cruiser.

Partially correct carguy though any light other then amber on a vehicle is illegal to have in NM unless its a leo, or authorized volunteer ff unit, or authorized tow. Average joe with two blue blues will be stopped and questioned just as having two reds, or red/blue. now with towing, yes they can have blue but it has to be amber/blue, not blue/blue.
they have these laws because of impersonation problems in the past with people using blue/blue.
