I am glad the officer was out of the car because if he wasnt then Durant Police would have lost a good officer. But I hope that the one who hit the car gets what is coming to him

As of May 2007 These are still in service in Midwest City as well as a few 95-96 Caprice's.

Yes they are 4x4 as with the Tahoes and Suburbans that OHP have.The purpose of these are for use where standard patrol (i.e Crown vics,Chargers) cars can't go off road.

looks like a custom-configured lfl liberty, or maybe an lfl patriot, although whelen doesn't put out the patriots anymore. what does oklahoma highway patrol usually have on their cars? the last time i passed through OK i think they were colored edge 9000 series bars.

This LED lightbar is also different from the new LED lightbars seen on their newer cars. Perhaps this was just a test scheme and they wanted to know how it would look?
