I respect Va State Police. With area law enforcement agencies in Blacksburg, they did a good job in investigating the shooting at VT.

You know how you leave your email address when you write your comments? Well, so did he. Why don't you just write to him directly and beg for a patch? It's sort of pious to expect someone to contact you first in order to get something you want them to give up, don't you think? And what would lead you to believe that this "John" guy is going to check back here for replies and patch requests after posting his comment?

You may want to contact webmaster Dave Arnold directly. He is a big badge/patch collector and will gladly send you almost any collectible momento from that department free of charge and will also pay for shipping.
