Dave, It took a little time, but I believe the name of the Chief for the Chino P.D. at that time was Chief Meehan. I hope my mental rolodex hasn't failed me.

When I was an explorer scout for Chino P.D. from '72-'74, we had a 63 ford van that the explorer's used alot. It is identical to the above picture. Oh yea, there is ABSOLUTLY no room for your fingers between the a-pillar and the door!
