Check out the Whelen Freedom lightbars. They're duplex like that. Although I'm not sure if you can program them to where the top half and the bottom half operate independently. Texas DPS units have this bar, so they can be see in the Texas folder...look for the black and whites.

I like the two layer LED light bar, its the first one I have seen. The LED bars around here are one level and slim. Seems to have additional side lighting for those pesky intersections.

This vehicle is now being used by the department for the "Beat The Heat" program. It has been converted into a dragster and can be seen racing at drag strips around the state.

FYI, it's a 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe.
Nice car.

1947 Chevrolet Fleetline sedan. Basically, it's a warmed over 1942 car. Chevrolet didn't get a new design until the 1949 model year.

For years, Subaru offered right hand drive in many of thier models as a special option. They were mainly intended for postal carriers. I don't know if they still offer rhd, though.

The Wisconson State Patrol changed their graphics a little. The shield and strip{e} are the same, but the STATE TROOPER
at the rear fender changed for 2003 and 2004 cars. It should read STATE PATROL now along with the trunk lettering. THANKS

"It should read STATE PATROL now".
Are you recommending I doctor up the photo or go back in time to 1999 and change the car itself?

When did we ever have a 78 Plymouth Fury for our squad car. As far as we ever knew we only had a Ford. And it was a very first squad car, as we just bought a new one this past fall.

Thanks Dennis. The caption has been changed.

Greg:
This is a '72 Satellite since it has the '72-up Mopar "generic" side marker lamps, and the Satellite script on the rear doors.
